This Privacy Policy describes how SkiFlow (“we”, “us”, “the app”) handles information when you use the SkiFlow iOS app and the companion Apple Watch app (together, the “Services”). SkiFlow is published by kentik s.r.o. (“Data Controller”).

1. Summary

• We use location (including in the background while tracking is active) to record ski activity, runs, lifts, and related metrics.
• Ski sessions and track data are stored on your devices (not on our servers).
• We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash and stability diagnostics to fix bugs. We do not use Firebase Analytics for advertising in the app configuration reflected in our project.
• The Apple Watch app may request access to HealthKit data you authorize, to support workout-related features.
• We do not sell your personal information. We do not require you to create an account to use the app.

Replace the bracketed placeholders before publishing and ensure the same URL is entered in App Store Connect and linked inside the app (Apple requires a working, specific privacy policy URL).

2. Information We Process

2.1 Location information

We collect precise location from your iPhone and/or Apple Watch when you grant permission and use tracking features. This includes when the app is in the background, so sessions can continue while you ski. Location is used to compute routes, elevation, speed, and related skiing metrics.

You can withdraw location access anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services on your device. Background tracking will stop if location permission is removed or tracking is turned off in the app.

2.2 Activity and session data (on-device)

Ski sessions, track points, and related statistics are processed and stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage (e.g. SwiftData). We do not operate a central server that receives this content as part of normal app operation.
